Cancellation & Postponement Because of COVID-19

Postponement of the MTA 88 April Lodge Meetings and the Road Dawg Rumble

1.  The MTA Lodge 88 April meeting has been canceled because of the Maryland State of Emergency caused by the virus. If the May meeting is canceled, it will also be posted on our website.

2.  Today Jack Howard – President of the MSPAA postponed the Rumble

You all know what is happening around us with this virus.  It has caused so many problems and health issues across the country and the world.  It has even reached down to our little fundraiser and screwed that up. There is nothing we can do about the virus except to try and get around it.  That is why the Road Daug Rumble is now postponed until August 9, 2020.

The 2020 Road Dawg Rumble initially scheduled for April 17, 2020, at the
Martin’s West is now re-scheduled for August 9, 2020. This date falls on a Sunday, and it will be in the afternoon from 2 p.m. until 7 p.m.

We will have the same buffet as we have had at past rumbles, and everything else remains the same as before. AGAIN the new date will be Sunday, August 9, 2020, from 2 PM until 7 PM.

If you can’t attend this new Rumble date for whatever reason, we will refund your money. To do this, we would ask you to return your ticket(s)to me at 1750 South Plantation Drive Dunkirk, Maryland 20754, and we will reimburse you.

If you keep your tickets, they are good for the event in August, and you need to do nothing more. Just join us.  We will be providing you the same entertainment and quality food as we have in the past. So, we are asking you to stay with us and make this a successful fundraiser and a fun reunion.

Remember folks, the money that comes from this event is used exclusively to build the MSP museum, to maintain the Walk of Honor, and to take care of the Monument to our honored dead. We are the State Police family. “We take care of our own.”

So, please join us if you can. See you there.
