Sick Call – Terry Hovermale
On Wednesday, December 4th, Terry Hovermale entered the Meritus Hospital in Hagerstown, Maryland, to remove a defective kidney. As he was recovering from the surgery, he suffered a significant complication. Terry developed blood clots in his lungs. On Friday he was transferred to the ICU and put on life support. He is listed in critical condition; he cannot take calls and is limited to two visitors at a time. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sandy and all of the Hovermale family.
December 7th, Terry was transferred to the University of Maryland Hospital and remains in critical condition.
December 8th, I received word that Terry was a little better and stable. He remains in intensive care at the University of Maryland Hospital.
December 11, 2019, Terry is stable but remains in serious condition at the University of Maryland Hospital.
December 14, 2019, Terry is doing better and has been transferred from Baltimore up here to Homewood Nursing Home for rehabilitation.
