Lodge 51 proposed to donate 1/3 cost of creating internship manuals for the Frederick Internship Program. Lodge 51 would pay 1/3, leaving the final 2/3 to be paid by Lodge 88 and Lodge 40. There was no official request from any representatives of the Frederick Barrack at the meeting. Discussion revealed that there were already internship program manuals printed by MSP. However, these manuals were not printed to satisfaction. It was decided that based on this information, Lodge 88 would not share the cost.
Motion to not fund the second printed internship manuals by J. Hewett, second by A. Swope. Unanimously approved by the members.
- Doug Bittinger advised that the usual date for the August River Meeting was conflicted and would not work. It was decided that the River Meeting would be held on September 11th, 2018. As always, it will be held at Doug Bittinger’s river site at the Potomac Fish and Game Club.
- President Baker investigated the $15 fee for MSP retired identification cards. The investigation revealed that state legislation allows up to a $25 fee and that the current cost would remain.
