Reminder – Groundbreaking Ceremony
The groundbreaking ceremony for the new Hagerstown Barrack is this Thursday, Aug. 26, at 1100 hours. Light refreshments will be served. Parking for the event will be at the MVA lot, next door to the barrack. There will be cadets assisting with parking and a shuttle bus to ferry people to and from the barrack. This arrangement is necessary because the construction has already taken much of our parking area.
The event is open to the public, but Lt. Kloos extends a special invitation to all retired MSP personnel. Retirees are always welcome at the barrack, but please consider joining us for this special day and see the barrack that you worked at for many years, before the ongoing construction makes it unrecognizable.
It’s not mandatory, but it would be appreciated if you would take a minute to RSVP Ruth Shawyer by phone to let us know you’ll be here. You can reach her directly at her desk by calling 301-739-2102. When the auto attendant answers, just enter her extension – 317.
Thank you,
Kevin Lewis, for Lt. Dave Kloos
